I wrote this last year for an Original Writing Essay at School, it's based on Command & Conquer(game), apparently it was worth a B.

The Tiberium Harvest
50 years ago when everything was finally at peace, a strange radioactive asteroid that had strange readings was threatening the earth and the only way to avoid it destroying most of America, all the countries that had the power of Nuclear Warheads would have to launch as many Nukes to the asteroid as possible.
The asteroid shattered, clusters of it spread all over the globe, forcing the world into total devastation. Each bit of shattered asteroid had spread a virus that killed thousands and there was no cure. World leaders and economies became corrupt, each country defenceless, one man saw this as an advantage to form a new force like no other, with laser defence technology and light, fast powerful machinery.
The name of this brutal force was quickly known as ‘The Brotherhood of NOD’ or NOD as others called them, the leader if this force was a man known only as Kane. A mastermind and probably a born leader, but when something evil rises there will always be something good to rise and stop them and they are known as the ‘Global Defence Initiative’ or GDI for short.
25 years have now passed and the battle between GDI and NOD is still raging on, more and more people are becoming infected and dieing from the virus substance now known as Tiberium.
(Meanwhile in space) A glowing, golden, gigantic metal object is orbiting the earth, as a small spacecraft heads towards this space station.
As the craft was landing you could hear the airlock alarms as the big, double, steel doors were closing, a few standard infantry soldiers were getting out of the dark doorway of the ship, then a six and a half foot, man who was wearing a green tank top with a brown waistcoat and green, brown and black camouflage trousers, he emerged from the ship. As he got out he looked around the one room, a soldier walked up to him, he saluted and the man saluted back to the soldier.
The soldier told him to. ”Stay here Sir, General Karver is on his way down here.” The both saluted back to one another and the soldier marched back into his normal patrol routine, the eight foot doors with a black and gold stripe down the middle.
All of a sudden the metal, automatic slide doors opened and a tall, well built man, in a dark green suit with many glimmering medals walked through the doors.
“General Karver”
“Ah… Havoc, how was your last mission?”
“Let’s just say I should have done it left handed.” Havoc grinned as General Karver sighed.
“Come with me.” General Karver and Havoc started to walk down the corridors as two soldiers accompanied them.
“As usually Havoc, I have another mission for you.” General Karver said in a calm tone of voice.
“Yeah, yeah, what kind of mission?” replied Havoc.
“We want you and a small reinforcement squadron, to meet up with, hopefully what and who’s left at our base that…” Havoc interrupted.
“Let me guess that NOD attacked again.”
“Correct” replied General Karver. “So what do ya think I will be up against?” Havoc said anxiously. “Where not sure exactly, but we think they’ll be some stealth tanks in the area and some light infantry.” replied General Karver.
“Alright… hey wait a sec, aren’t stealth tanks those vehicles that practically go invisible unless at close range?” Said Havoc in a nervous tone. “Correct again Havoc, you seem to be on a roll today.” Replied General Karver, as he smirked slightly.
“Well as you know Havoc the armoury is down there and you can meet up with Sydney and everyone else in your squad in the central bay.” “Right!” replied Havoc.
“So how long will it take for you to get ready?”
“How much grub you got in the Dining area? Cause I’m starving from that last mission.”
General Karver sighed again, as Havoc walked off searching for the dining area, scratching his head and whispering to himself. “Now where is that place again?”
Havoc now eating in the dining area as a long-brown-haired woman entered through the slide doors, she scoped the room and saw Havoc with piles of chain, rifle and rocket ammo as well as armour and the weaponry to go with it, “Sure you’ve got enough stuff there?” Sydney smirked.
“You ready yet? We’ve been waiting nearly two hours, Come on how long can one man be?”
“OK I’m done.” Replied Havoc in his deep gruff voice.
“Come On Havoc, let’s get going then!” Sydney shouted as she hurried Havoc to the door.
Sydney and Havoc rushed out of the dining area and now started to slow down there pace, as they walked to the central bay Sydney thought it would be a good idea to remind Havoc on his objective, Havoc just trying to ignore what she was saying it was only till she mentioned about the Dead-4 in trouble did Havoc start paying attention, she mentioned how they’re lives were at risk did Havoc freeze, he quickly gave out a big shout.
“Well… What are we waiting for, LET’S GO!”
Havoc now sprinting towards the central bay as Sydney struggling to keep up.
When they reached the central bay Havoc quickly shouted.
“LET’S GO! LET’S GO! Move! Move! Move! Come ON, MOVE!”
All the soldiers scattered into the three docked shuttles, as Sydney just managed to get on board the same shuttle as Havoc just as the doors sealed shut.
As the shuttles took off Sydney was still curious yet confused as to why Havoc got so stressed when she mentioned about the Dead-4, all of a sudden Havoc started talking across the rows of different soldiers with his back, faced towards her, the glow of the earth and the darkness of the shuttle sent a cold shiver down Sydney’s spine, as she could now fully hear what Havoc was saying to her. ”…Yeah, it used to be the Dead-6” Havoc now leaning back against the side of the shuttle. “Me, Dead-Eye, Patch, Hotwire, Gunner and…” He paused. “And Sakura, we were all at the top of our leagues for what we were good at most, you know the saying, not to get too involved with who you work with, Heh… I guess you could say I learned that the hard way, me and Sakura got ‘involved’ with one another.” Havoc tilted his upwards and sniffed his nose, the glow of the earth made a few of Havoc’s tears glisten as they tapped the cold floor of the shuttle, Havoc continued his story. “It was all going well until…” Suddenly the Red light was flashing as a very loud alarm started to roar within the shuttle.
The pilot shouted. “Sir a large amount of NOD crafts are attacking us from out of no-where.”
Havoc started to Panic and shouted. “Oh SH…” Sydney quickly interrupted before Havoc could finish and shouted. “Quick! Set all engine thrusters to maximum efficiency, and try to get as close as possible to these coordinates! Tell the others to do the same as well.”
There was a massive rumble. “What the Hell.” Havoc Shouted. “Sir… Alpha two has just been destroyed! And I can’t get any radio frequency from Alpha three.” Sydney now worried, Shouted.
“Just land on earth and let’s hope they do to!” The pilot Replied. “Alright… Hold on tight.” “It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.” Havoc Shouted.
The shuttle now entering the earth's atmosphere started to speed up as it got closer to the ground, now starting to become a blaze in the sky, you could make out some of the scenery, Havoc yelled. “OH SHI…” The shuttle slammed right into the ground. “Havoc… Havoc… Havoc” Havoc’s sight a little blurry. “Medic quick, He’s regaining consciousness.” Sydney smirked and said. “Welcome back Commander.”
