Oh my, how I hate my school with all it's ridiculousness. I'll share with you all the unnecessary, outrageous things that make it truly annoying.
- The dress code. Aside from the standard one we've had for a couple of years now (white, blue, or tan shirt and khaki pants with shirt tucked in and a belt), this year they've made an addition: No hooded jackets/sweaters allowed. What the hell? What about when it rains (which it has been frequently here lately)? These stupid people make rules like this and probably don't even realize or care about the consequences we have to deal with because of them.
But what pisses me off the most about this is they say, "You're adults now. We're going to treat you like one." Yet they try to control how we dress as though they're our parents and we're still toddlers. We come to school to learn, not for a god damn fashion show or critique on our choice of laundry. The teachers get to wear whatever the hell they want, though. Ironically, today a teacher wearing a green shirt got onto a girl because she was wearing a green undershirt/bra-like thing. They might as well make our damn underclothing be in dress code as well, and strip search us every morning.
- Breakfast. For some reason, for the past few months we've had to get our breakfast in paper bags on the way into school, and go to the gym or our first block and eat there. No one's allowed in the cafeteria in the morning for some reason, despite it not being in use, under construction or something, etc. at all. Stupid.
- The library. We never get to go during any of our classes, nor during lunch. In fact, all the hallways are restricted during lunch time, so we can't access either of the main buildings at all. Basically, we just have to stay in the cafeteria or stand outside in the blazing heat til' the bell rings for the next class. Stupid, especially when people want to go to the library and check out some books or turn some in, because they'll never really have a chance to do so any other time of the day.
So yeah, if any of you have it worse than this (I doubt it), I feel sorry for you. If not, you're lucky.
Feel free to share any or all things you hate about your school here. Let out the anger, it helps. Trust me.
