If you guys want more Literature to be posted and would prefer this place to be more...lively, I will attempt at suggesting this site to people to make it more active since it'd be a shame for this place to die out. This is really not a place for poetry however, there is not any opinions only compliments on them.
That being said it's almost the same for the Stories but when you see no sign for improvement in them I guess you dont bother but put *really nice* or some other meaningless post.
Anyway...I shall try and make this place more lively for you as(I've said) it'd be a shame for this place to ever slowly die out. Just pull your damn heads out of the mud will you, Gawd.

That's a fair enough point to make, Madkill. I would have pointed out that there really is a high standard of work being posted here, and while perhaps you're right about the poetry I'll have to disagree with the stories. Compliments, to an extent, ARE opinions, in the sense that I personally wouldn't compliment something I didn't like.
As for this place dying out, I'd hate to see that too, and I'd love for you to assist us in keeping it going. We have to take into account people's real life commitments too, and can't expect everybody to be on here as much as they'd like to.

Make posts(opinions/criticism/compliments) to gain them to be honest, but people who have posted there stuff up on here rarely look at anyone else's and somehow still they don't understand that it's something expected. Make the First Move People!..You gain nothing from Waiting!

but people who have posted there stuff up on here rarely look at anyone else's and somehow still they don't understand that it's something expected. I don't agree with you on that. How do you know what people read? Just because they don't comment, it doesn't mean they haven't read it. But yeah, there needs to be more stories and stuff. Posting about this place on other forums would be coolio. I posted a poem (pretty naff one but hey i don't usually write poetry) and the responses i received were nothing to do with me or my poem! Criticism-wise, it's kinda difficult because there's only a few members, and people take things so personally at times. I think you can appreciate work without criticising it, so maybe in the title you could put a symbol like: ~#~ to show that you're open for receiving criticism on that piece of writing, or leave the symbol out if you don't want to receive any.

just because it gains views it doesn't always mean someone has read it all or even attempted to. some yes, but not always. It would be appreciated to have more people post about the forums instead of seeing the same peoples posting.

I have suggested on several occasions that people go to other forums and post about the PR. I've even asked people to tell their friends in real life about it, if they're into writing. I've done the same thing, so it's not like I sit back and wait for people to come here.
