Seconded. On that note, I'm sure there's jobs in Japan like this, being such a huge industry you can bet there's plenty of money involved. I wouldn't mind doing the same thing, except as a writer. haha that would be a fun job to do tht is like one of my dreams, but i think i'd need to know some japanese though >.< I have to learn Japanenglish for when I go to Japan to train under Master Hatsumi in order to get my black belt for ninjitsu. If you watch Anime in Japanese as well as Japanese shows and movies with subtitles, you'll pick up how to speak and pronounce the common sentences naturally, I'm lucky enough to have two friends who learnt Japanese in school (lucky bums, I only had the choices of German, Vietnamese and Italian...) so they can help me out a bit with learning what the symbols mean and what-not. I still have a long way to go though, need to actually learn it from proper teachers and not TV and under-qualified teacher friends.

I learned Japanese from the moment I got into Primary School until year 9, so I'd know some basics. There'd be enough English spoken in Japan for people to get by, I reckon. But as long as you can pick up languages pretty well, you should be fine.

Learning Japanese in Primary School?! WHAT THE HELL?!?! We never had any alternate language classes until like 8th grade, and the only choices we have now I think are Spanish and French. I'm taking French next semester, it'll be my first class ever learning a different language. I doubt it'll go much in depth about it until later courses though, which I may or may not decide to go through with...we'll just have to see how it goes.

Japanese would be easier to learn than English, but I still found it an absolute bitch. That's why I don't do it anymore, although I want to pick it up again, for sure.
